Coffee Shop

Objective

Develop a functional commercial space for a “Coffee Pod” shop using two shipping containers while including an 8’x8’ patio.

Outcome

Using SketchUp, I created Frost, a modern, compact coffee shop with all interior finishes and equipment. I used my floor plans and elevations to create a scale model made of card-stock.

BC Buzz

Objective

To modernize a brand identity found at the gluten free trade show and to redesign their trade show booth.

Outcome

The new and improved BC Buzz logo incorporates a swift combination using only one B for both words and a friendly bee to complete the logo. The trade show booth holds a large focus on the hexagonal shape used in many different applications to emphasize the home of the bees the honeycomb.

Ginger Rain Hair Salon

Objective

Create a high-end hair salon in the lobby in a noteworthy Vancouver hotel. Space is limited to 8 ft. x 12 ft., one chair seat, and one hair washing station.

Outcome

The Ginger Rain salon features a modern take on a retro design sensibility. A palette of pinks and greens combined with graphic wall paper and gold accents contributes to a space that could be found in any high-end hotel.
